Legislative & Regulatory Representation
Benefit from NAHB and NABA’s demonstrated track record in establishing effective and cooperative relationships at the local, state, and national levels.
NAHB’s Advocacy . . . NAHB has the power to defeat excessive regulations and needless red tape, and defend affordable housing initiatives. That puts money and time back in your pocket! Plus, we keep you informed with prompt regulatory and legislative alerts.
NABA Government Affairs Committee. . . Members meet monthly to work together to address legislative and regulatory issues that affect the building industry. The association enjoys a good working relationship with Flagstaff and Coconino County; both are NABA members. We enjoy a strong presence in Page, where the first NABA Chapter was formed in 2000 and with our Kingman Chapter. Our local representation will expand as membership grows and new areas are served in Yavapai, Mohave, and Navajo counties.
NABA enjoys direct links to industry issues at the state level through our lobbyist. In these ways, the association works to make sure the government meets the needs of the building industry.
